OBITUARY:Mr. Clarence Rupp, 82, Kansas City, KS, passed away Friday, June 14, 1996, at Medicalodge North. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Kansas City, KS; followed by burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Monday, June 17, at the Skradski Chapel, where the Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Mr. Rupp was born in Hays, KS, and had lived in the Kansas City area since 1946. He had been employed by various construction companies for over 45 years and retired from Swenson Construction Company in 1978, as a construction foreman. Hewas a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John's Catholic Club, and the Laborers Union, Local #1290. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rose D. (Kladusan) Rupp, of the home; three brothers, Ralph Rupp, Kansas City, KS, Dr.Floyd Rupp, Tulsa, OK, and Ernest Rupp, Shawnee Mission, KS; two sisters, Maureen Gile, Las Vegas, NV, and Ruth Williams, Kansas City North, MO.
