JAMES (JIMMY) HUNTER SMITH
On June 8, 1979 at the Concordia Hospital, James (Jimmy) Hunter Smith, in his 78th year, beloved husband of Edna P. Smith of 163 Rowandale Avenue.
Mr. Smith was born in Stirlingshire, Scotland and had lived in Winnipeg since 1906. He was employed with the Walter Lowney Company until his retirement.
Surviving in addition to his wife Edna, are a son, Murray E. MacCallum of Ottawa; a brother, John S. Smith and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Mancer and Mrs. Lillian Lauder, all of Winnipeg.
Funeral service will be held in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, Broadway at Furby, Tuesday, June 12 at 2:15 p.m. The Rev. Donald I. Wilson will officiate. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery. Courtesy parking west of the chapels.
Flowers gratefully declined, should friends desire, contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Manitoba Division) 900 Portage Avenue.
