Rites Set Wednesday For Mrs. Longworth

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Longworth, 69, of 200 East Broadway, who died in a local hospital at 9 o'clock Monday morning, will be conducted at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at Preston - Pruitt Funeral Home by Dr. Elroy Lamb, pastor of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in Bellevue cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Day, William Tucker; William Wilder, Richard Rogers, Omer Casey and John JTankersley Jr.

Born July 22, 1894, in Bedford, Ind., Mrs. Longworth had lived here most of her life and had been ill for about a year.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Longworth, Garrard county; four daughters, Mrs. Morris Crain, Danville; Mrs. Grover Poynter, Garrard county; Mrs. Matt Oallett, Fort Wayne, Ind., and . Mrs. P. D. Howard, Downey, Calif.; two sons, William Gaffney, Danville, and John Longworth, Shelby City; two brothers, Leonard Grissom and Everett Grissom, both of Mitchell, Ind., eight grandchildren and ten great - grandchildren.

The body is at fhe funeral home..
