Mrs. Eleanor Cushman Burke, 85, of Winterville Retirement Center, died Monday, Jan. 1, 1996, at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens.
Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery.
Mrs. Burke, a lifelong resident of Aiken, was a piano teacher and a member of First Baptist Church. She played piano and organ at local churches for weddings and funerals and was the organist at George Funeral Home for many years.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth M. Gaver, Athens; a daughter, Margaret Wilson, Panama City Beach, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
