Thomas C. Walker Jr., 81, of Cabot, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, in Butler Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 14, 1930, in Butler, he was the son of Thomas C. Walker Sr. and Sylvia Myers Walker. Tom was a self-employed piano tuner. He was a member of Millerstown United Methodist Church. He enjoyed camping, sports and playing the piano. Surviving are his son, Jeffrey (Jean) Walker, of Sarver; his daughter, Jean (Dave) Jones, of Cabot; two sisters, Delores (Heber) Bouland, of Columbia, Md., and Joyce (Donald) Ortner, of Kensington, Md.; and two grandchildren, Matthew (Leanne) Walker and Amy Walker and her fiance, Caleb Hatch. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sylvia Kummer Walker, on Feb. 14, 2010. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at FOX FUNERAL HOME INC., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Darlene Ryniec officiating. Interment will follow in Millerstown Methodist Cemetery. www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
