Mrs Ada Rollins, 69, residing in Bedford R.R.2 in the Silverville community, passed away at 10:50 pm Monday, October 25, at the residence. She had been in failing health the past six years.
Mrs. Rollins was born to Robert and Malinda (Waggoner) Craid on November 16, 1878, in Lawrence county. She was married twice, first to William Richards in 1897 and her second marriage was to Harley Rollins, March 10, 1912 who survives.
Other survivors are one son, Edward Richards, Bedford and one daughter, Mrs Curtis Craig, Trinity Springs, by her first marriage; two daughters, Mrs. Nelma Simmerman, Silverville, and Mrs. Howard Lewis, Elnora, Ind. by her second marriage. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one brother, J.M. Craig, state of Tennessee. Two sons have preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 29, at 10:00 am in the Silverville Baptgist church with Rev Harvey Depew officiating. Place of burial has not been decided.
The body will lie in state at the Sherwood and Ferguson Funeral Home late Wednesday afternoon until the hour of the service.
