Floyd W. "Pete" Bryant, 91, of Amity, died Sunday, February 1, 2004.
He was born on July 12, 1912, at Lennox, Arkansas, the son of Eric B. Bryant and Missouri Adcock Bryant. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Still Bryant.
He was a disabled veteran, worked for the logging and timber industry for many years, and was Assembly of God in faith.
He is survived by one son, James Bryant of Murfreesboro; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Joann Spears of Arkadelphia, Grady and Barbara Inlow of Hope, and Jimmy and Brenda Long of Mountain Pine; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 3, 2004, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Fagan officiating.
Visitation will be Monday, 6 PM to 8 PM.
Interment will be in the Golden Cemetery, near Arkadelphia, under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
