She is a member of First Christian Church of the Cumberland's in Crossville, Tennessee. Throughout her life she enjoyed reading, cooking, the outdoors and spending time with her family. She graduated from Tennessee Tech and got her degree in education. Betty is preceded in death by husband, Dr. Henry Taylor; parents, Bill and Lillie Ashburn; son, Danny Taylor.
She is survived by son, John Taylor & wife Louanne of Clinton; brother- in-law. Bill Taylor & wife Pat of Cookeville; daughter- in-law, Kathy Taylor Farley & husband Tim of Sparta; sister-in-law, Coleen Taylor of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5:00-6:30 PM, Thursday, May 4, 2006 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with memorial services following in the chapel. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
