Grant Huff, retired vice president, cashier and director of the Berea Bank and Trust, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 8 at the Berea Hospital following a lengthy illness. Huff, 98, was a resident of Pearl Street in Berea and had lived in Berea for the past 75 years. He was a native of Harlan County.
He was a member of the Berea Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and treasurer for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Mary) Jennings of Tallahassee Fla.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Berea Baptist Church today (Thursday ) at 2p.m. by the Reverend John Chapman. Burial in the Berea Cemetery will follow.
Pallbearers include Doug Wylie, Ernest Harper, Hugh Byrd, Glyndon Brandenburg, Robert Huff and Robert Davis.
