Her father is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Whitsett, TX, and her mother is buried in Three Rivers Cemetery in Three Rivers, TX. Daisy was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Palestine, TX. She shares a stone with her husband, Carl Adolph Stendebach Sr. She was residing in Palestine at the time of her death there. She was survived by one daughter, Patsy Ruth Stendebach Bush of Palestine; Carl Adolph Stendebach Jr. of Houston; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Her obituary was published in the Palestine Herald-Press in August 2000.
