Mrs. Allene S. Austin, age 58, of Route 1, Waynesburg, died unexpectedly last Tuesday at the Fort Logan Hospital. Mrs. Austin, a native of Lincoln County, had lived here all her life. She was a member of the Mt. Moriah Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ted Austin; a daughter, Mrs. Grover Murphy, Loveland, Ohio; a son Ted Austin, Jr., Mt. Perry, Ohio; a step-son, Hershal Berkley, Michigan; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. A. W. Fletcher, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. John Rains, Cincinnati.
Services were conducted Friday afternoon by the Rev. Vernon Clark at the Barnett Funeral Home. Burial was in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Barnett Funeral Home.
