Darna M. Childress died in infancy and was buried in the Ellis Cemetery on the old John and Elizabeth Chapman Ellis farm. By the latter part of the 1900s, thirty tombstones were able to be found and read, and the farm was owned by Kenneth Mattingly. The cemetery is located between Tracy and Dry Fork, on the south side of State Highway 921, just west of Defeated Creek Road. It is in a clump of small trees on a slight hill about 100 yards off the road. Dairy cows were being allowed to freely roam amongst the tombstones, with more than half of them knocked down and many broken.
