Mrs. Mary (Stubbs) BUTLER, was the first white woman to make a home on the west side of the Whitewater River, in Wayne County, Indiana in 1806. She had married in 1792, Cherokee Territory, East (Now Wrightsboro, McDuffie Co., Georgia) to Beale BUTLER, They had 4 Children born to this Union: (2 Sons & 2 Dau's)
1. 1st Son: Samuel, b. 15 Jun 1793, GA.
2. 1st Dau: Susanna, b. 15 Nov 1795, GA.
3. 2nd Son: William O., b. 22 Jun 1798, GA.
4. 2nd Dau: Mary Jr., b. 06 Jan 1801, GA.
