Manahan - Raymond V. Manahan, 68, . . . , died at 1:30 a.m Friday Oct. 20, 1978, in his home after a sudden illness. Born March 12, 1970, in Wayne County, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Manahan. Married the former Paula Barton Aug. 3, 1973. Employed as maintenance man by General Electric Co., Rockford. Member of Joppa; Scottish Rite, Freeport; and Tabata Shrine, Rockford. Lifetime member of DeKalb Moose Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Paula; a stepson, Howard Olig; a stepdaughter, . . . ; six stepgrandchildren; three brothers, Euil, Paw Paw, Otis, Fairfield, and Owen, Flora; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Warren, Fairfield, Mrs. Ruby Porter, Wayne City, and Mrs. Agnes Sheborn [sic], Cisney [sic].

Services at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, in Julian-Poorman Funeral Home, 304 N. 5th St., with the Rev. Harold McElvaney, pastor of Court Street United Methodist Church, officating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
