Brighton, Colorado -- Pete Lange, a former North Platte resident, died March 29, 1991, in Brighton, Colorado. He was 64.

Harold Henry Chris "Pete" Lange was born November, 18, 1926, in McPherson County to Chris and Marie (Weiland) Lange. Pete was raised in the North Platte area where he attended schools.

On June 24, 1949, Pete married Doris Maxine Steel, in North Platte, Nebraska.

Mr. Lange moved to Brighton, Colorado in 1959 where he was employed as an over-the-road truck driver until his retirement in 1978. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Brighton; American Quarterhorse Association, as horse and cattle working was his hobby; and was active in the Adams County 4-H Club.

Burial was in the Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens Cemetery, North Platte, Nebraska.
