Arthur F. Adams of 5 West Lockeford Street, passed away yesterday afternoon at his home after a long illness. He was 82 years old, a native of Sutter Creek, California, and had lived in this community for 41 years. The immediate family survivors are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Adams, two daughters, Mrs. Victor Myers of Lodi and Mrs. W. E. Islip of Acampo and two sons, Lester A. Adams of Woodland and Harold R. Adams of Stockton. Another son was the late Raymond I. Adams. Five grandchildren also survive. The grandchildren are Mrs. Vivian Truelove of Pismo Beach, Mrs. Bernice Pahl of Stockton, Mrs. Ada Lois Barbero of Lodi and Miss Linda Adams and Donald Adams of Stockton. The great grandchildren are Janice Truelove of Pismo Beach and Michael Pahl of Stockton. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Chapel of the Hale And Bawden Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lodi Memorial Mausoleum.
