Mrs. Hawkins was born Sept. 29, 1908, in Manhattan, Kan. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors: Daughter, Joyce Webb and husband, Conrad, of Godley; son, Ron Hicks and wife, Viki, of San Marcos; grandchildren, Gary and Sue Slaughter, Rick Slaughter, Mike and Debby Slaughter, Trey and Tina Webb, David Webb, Clay and Mary Ann Hicks and Summer Hicks; and eight great-grandchildren.
