Death of Mrs. Rhoda Woodall.

This excellent lady, greatly beloved by all who knew her, died at her home in Milltown on Thursday, Feb. 29, in the 77th year of her age. She was the widow of Mr. W. M. Woodall, who died many years ago. Mrs. Woodall left one son, Mr. Madison Woodall, of Columbus, Ga., and five daughters; Mrs. Willie David, of Talladega, Ala., Mrs. Leslie Baker and Mrs. Susie Brooks, of near Austin, Texas, Mrs. A. B. Riser and Mrs. James Chewning, of Milltown. The children were all present at the funeral except Mrs. Brooks. The burial took place at Milltown on Wednesday, March 1. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. J. Layton, the pastor of the Baptist Church of which the deceased had been for many years a consistent members, in the presence of a large assembly of relatives and friends.

Mrs. Rhodi Woodall died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jim Chewning, last Tuesday. Mrs. Woodall was one of Milltown's oldest citizens, being at the time of her death almost 77 years of age. She had spent nearly her entire life here, and all who knew her loved her. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. W. J. Layton, before a large concourse of friends. She is survived by one son, Mr. Madison Woodall, of Columbus, and five daughters – Mrs. Willie David, of Talladega; Mrs. Leslie Baker and Mrs. Susie Brooks, of Van Alstyne, Texas; Mrs. A. B. Riser and Mrs. Jim Chewning, of this place. All were present at the time of her death except Mrs. Brooks.
