Edna, after her husband Henry died in 1942, operated the Hatch Dry Cleaners for many years along with Jimmie Sue McDonald. Her support for her family was always difficult as a sole supporter and businesswoman, but at the end was able to make light over difficult situations. She enjoyed being close to friends and family.
