Mrs. Theta Payne Biddix, age 78, of Franklin, Tenn. passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007 at Williamson Medical Center. Born Oct. 18, 1928 in Marion to the late L. Keener and Jessie Carrigan Payne. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Marion. She attended schools in McDowell County and was a graduate of Marion High; attended Branton's Business College, Asheville and she was a member of the Pilot Club. She was preceded in death in 1985 by husband, Keith Royale Biddix; sisters, Lucille P. Conley and Odelia P. Fisher; brothers, Stacey, Hal and Lee Roy Payne. Survived by nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2007 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Rev. Michael Swofford officiating.
