He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He served in the Vietnam War and retired from the Air Force National Guard. He was a General Manager with WTOO and a mechanic. He attended and was a member of Chestnut Hill Baptist Church in Fairview and he sang with the Tonesmen Quartet for many years. He was a son of the late Wayne Lisenbee, Sr. and Mildred Merrill Lisenbee.
