Mrs. Redmond was born July 5, 1928, to Mack and Wava McCoy.
She married Harold Redmond. He preceded her in death in 1996.
She lived in Homer for the last 22 years after moving from Jackson.
Mr. Redmond loved flower gardening and her pets.
Survivors include a daughter, Christine Ashley of Jackson; a stepson, William Randolf of Alabama; three grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin (Tammy) Collins of Homer, Mr. and Mrs. Keith (Teri) O'Daniel of Minnesota, and Sandy Reeser of Jackson; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Redmond was preceded in death by a brother, Lou Maxwell.
Interment followed in Albion Memory Gardens.
