SHELBY, Winford M.Age 86 of Madison, TN. January 10, 2012. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Frances Lafayette Shelby; son, John T. Shelby of Nashville; grandchildren, Lori Anne Moore and John M. (Carrie) Shelby; great grandchildren, Taylor and Colin Moore, Courtney and Sarah Shelby. Mr. Shelby was a U.S. Navy Seabee veteran and retired from IBEW Local #429. He was a member of Bellshire United Methodist Church and Madison Lodge #762 F&AM. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012 in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall with Pastor Mark Allmond officiating. Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Shelby on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Thursday at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
