Doris June Ashworth, 80, of Singer, Louisiana passed from this life on January 9, 2012.
Aunt Doris was a faithful, longtime member of the Pentecostal Church and was currently a member of Singer United Pentecostal Church. She was the owner and operator of the Parkway Café until 1972. Aunt Doris was a fantastic cook and enjoyed feeding family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her furry companion, peanut.
Harold and Doris Had no Children of thier own, but supported several Neices and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ashworth; parents, Marshall and Molinda Thorn; 5 sisters and 1 brother.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 2:00pm at Singer United Pentecostal Church. The Reverends, Donnis Ashworth, Samuel Ashworth and Michael Cole will officiate. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, Louisiana.
