James R. "Jim" Felts, 60, of 8400 Highway 405, Maceo, died Tuesday, April 26, 1994, at his home. He was born in Logan County and was formerly employed as a truck driver for Green Coal Co. for 20 years. He was an Army veteran, a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, the National Rifle Association, and formerly served on the board of the Daviess County Fish& Game. He was a son of the late Dr. Logan and Arlena Dillon Felts. Survivors include his wife, Gail Higgins Felts; five daughters, Debbie McMahan of Utica, Theresa Hendrix of Paducah, Anita Garland and Sharon Felts, both of Owensboro, and Susie Boone of Fordsville; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Joe Felts of Russellville; and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 1 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation from 1-6 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Monday at James H. Davis Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 5 p.m. today.
