John Graham was of Scotch descent. He married Elnora Hines. The Hiners came from Pennsylvania. John Graham's father was a Revolutionary soldier. The Grahams lived in the Wild Cat neighborhood near Pendleton. John Graham died in January 1877 at the age of 76 years. His wife died in 1897 at the age of 82 years. Both are buried in Delaware Cemetery. They came to Ripley County just after the Civil War. The children of John and Elnora Hiners Graham were:
