Joseph Bushong Passes Away
Joseph Elmer Bushong, 76, of Big Sandy, passed away at the Fort Benton hospital on Sunday, July 4th. He was taken to the hospital on the 20th of May and had been in poor health for several years.
Mr. Bushong was born March 6, 1872, at West Mansfield, Ohio. He came to Big Sandy from LaPort, Indiana, in May 1910. He homesteaded three miles north of Big Sandy. On May 25, 1915, he was married to Anna Winters.
He is survived by his wife and one brother, Dana Bushong, of Bay City, Mich.
Funeral services were conducted at the St. Margaret Mary's Church on Thursday morning. Interment was made in Big Sandy cemetery.
