VERNON - Dee Wayne Bachman, 66, of Vernon died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, in Wichita Falls.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Symonds officiating. Burial will be in Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home of Vernon.
Mr. Bachman was the former Director of Parks and Recreation for Los Angeles and Riverside, Calif.
Survivors include three brothers, Robert Bachman and Larry Bachman, both of Vernon, and Otto Bachman Jr. of Thalia, Texas; three sisters, Nettie Heard of Vernon, Ella Nixon of Portales, N.M., and Mary Ellen Chalfanat of Columbus, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
