Mrs. Florence "Flora" Specht, 85, formerly of Woodville, died Tuesday, February 19, 1957. Born on June 17, 1871, in Germany. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Carolina Bockstette.

Florence immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1891. She was then working as a domestic, and was only nineteen years old

Mrs. Specht was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, farmer, homemaker, and Lutheran. She enjoyed collecting knick-knacks, cooking, and spending time with family.

She was preceded into her passing by her parents; husband, Louis Specht of 45 years; and brothers, Henry and Frank Bockstette.

She is survived by daughters, Katharine Ohm, Marie Ohm, Anna Meldrum, Wilhelmenia Traver, Dorothea Roose, and Margarette Cunningham; sons, William and Henry Specht; also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Internment will take place at Fish Cemetery.
