Virgie McCracken Coke, age 91, of Yellville died in Marion County Hospital on Friday, May 14.
Mrs. Coke was born in Flippin on Nov. 8, 1890 to Eli and Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" Covington McCracken. She spent most of her life in Marion County.
Mrs. Coke was a Baptist.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Fern Adams of Yellville, Mrs. Nita Verner of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Neva Flippin of Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, L. H. Coke of Buffalo, Mo.; one sister, Minnie Coke of Dallas, Tex.; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 18, at 2 p.m. in Burns Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lee Bowers officiating. Burial was in Layton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Loyd Moreau, Tank Rea, Leo Keys, Floyd Burrow, Glenn Johnson and Roscoe Jefferson.
Arrangements were under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Yellville.
