Bernard died at about 1:15 AM at his home at 213 Brady Street. He had been ill for several years, but death came suddenly. Born in Negaunee, Delta, Michigan June 14, 1894, Mr Green was married in Escanaba on Feb 3, 1920 to Alvina Victoria Pecor/Pecore/Picard. Bernard met Alvina in the Venier Mill in Escanaba, Marquette, Michigan. He was her boss.

He was a member of the St Mary's Church, the Holy Name Society and was a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was employed by the Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home

In the 1920 Census, Bernard was living at home with his mom, brother Joseph, sister Amanda, Alma and May/Mae. They lived on N. Sarah Street in Escanaba, Michigan.
