LaVon Earl Lambert Sorenson, age 87, passed away peacefully May 22, 1995 at the home of her daughter in Sandy, Utah. She returned to her Father-in-Heaven after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born October 11, 1907 to Dewey L. Earl and Mildred Walker Earl. Married Reed M. Lambert. Divorced. Married Virgil Sorenson December 25, 1961. Widowed February 28, 1995.
Survived by son; daughters; four sisters, two brothers, 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughters, Barbara Jane Lambert and infant twin, Nina Lambert, and one brother.
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Gregory Dupont and nurse, Karen Nordgren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 25, at 12 noon, at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. where family and friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment will be at the same location under the direction of Memorial Estates.
