Pvt. Adrian E. McBride, 29, was killed in action in France Nov. 25, according to word received by his mother, Mrs. Lydia Vance, Provo.
His father, E. H. McBride, also resides in Provo.
An infantryman, Pvt. McBride was assigned overseas in October after receiving training at Camp Forman, Tex., and Camp Meade, Md. He entered service in January.
He was born in Oakley, Ida., and had lived in Provo 12 years.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Sgt. Mateland McBride, Moffett Field, Cal.; Sgt. Leo McBride, stationed in Italy; and Ralph McBride, Salt Lake City, and two sisters, Mrs. Wanda Sellers and Miss Dorothy McBride, Provo.
