Donald Lee "Tootie" Stinnett, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 near Paris.
He was born November 3, 1932 in Paris to the late Lafey Stinnett and Tessie Jewell (Rollans) Stinnett. He was 79 years old.

He was also preceded in death by the mother of his children, Erma Stinnett; his wife, Dorothy Stinnett; one son, Gary Stinnett, and one step-son, Rudy Plemmons.

Don was former owner & operator of Stinnett's Transmission Service in Paris, was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, member of the Roseville Assembly of God and attended the Paris First Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10th, at the Paris First Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. Wayne Thacker officiating. Burial will be at Rana Cemetery, south of Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Kuykendall and husband Terry of Branch; four sons, Larry Don Stinnett and wife Freda of Paris, Ricky Stinnett and wife Vickie of Van Buren, Donnie Stinnett and companion Nancy of Paris, and Kenny Ray Stinnett and wife Linda of Paris; one step-daughter, Joyce Friddle and husband Donald of Magazine; one step-son, Robert Plemmons and wife Donna of Cox Valley; two sisters, Mary Miller of Paris and Faye Hicks of Greenwood; two brothers, Bill Stinnett of Paris and Wayne Stinnett of Ratcliff; (19) grandchildren; (48) great grandchildren; (12) great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell, Daniel, Jeremy, Jeffery, and David Stinnett, and Bobby Kuykendall.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cale Kuykendall, Preston Stinnett, Michelle Naegle, Kelley Cooper, Lana Thompson, Brenda Stinnett, Chris Stinnett, and all other grandchildren.
