William Henry Kirker, Jr. 69, life-long resident and retired farmer of Uniontown died yesterday at 9:20 a.m. at Mercy Hospital where he had entered Nov. 8.

He was born Feb. 4, 1895, at Uniontown the son of William H. Kirker, Sr. On Feb. 6, 1917, he married Esther Clark at Uniontown.

Surviving are the widow of the home and four children, Harold Kirker and Mrs. Belle Hartman of Fort Scott; Mrs. Ida Ramsey, Redfield; and Fred Kirker, Uniontown. There are five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Six brothers and sisters and a grandson are deceased.

Mr. Kirker was a member of the Uniontown Methodist Church where funeral services will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. Ron Farrell at 2 p.m. Nov. 28. Interment will be in Uniontown Cemetery under the direction of Earl's Memorial Home....The Fort Scott Tribune, Nov 27, 1964.
