Mrs. Thomas D. Phillips
Madison ~ Mrs. Thomas D. Phillips, 60 died at her home at Madison due to a stroke.
Mary Etta Chrisman was born in Ellisburg December 18, 1869, a daughter of Abram and Francis Chrisman, In 1890* she married Thomas D. Phillips of Madison at which place she had made her home since.
Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Ellis R. Jones of 116 Leah Street, Utica; Mrs. James McArdle of Albany, and Miss Alice Phillips of Madison; two sons, Fred and Frank Phillips of Madison; three grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Frank Tyler, Mrs. Myran Christman of Ellisbury; Mrs. Charles Hart, Oswego, and Mrs. George Willliams, of Bellville; five brother, Abram, Henry, Eddie and Fred Chrisman of Mamsville and Frank Chrisman of Oswego.
Burial was in the family plot in Madison Village Cemetery. Among the floral tributes was a wreath from neighbors and a plaque from the Cherry Valley Grange.
