Ellicott City Lions Club. WOUNDED IN GERMANY - A native of Nashville, Ark., he came to Baltimore in 1951 to attend the Eastern College of Commerce and Law. He was graduated from the school in 1954, the second-highest in his class. A veteran of World War II, Mr Jarman served in the infantry as a sergeant. He was wounded in the left leg by a landmine in 1944 in Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Rockland Evangelical United Brethren Church. Burial will be in Baltimore National Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Marion Painter Jarman; four daughters, Susan Lea, Marlene, Shelby, and Patricia; a son, Clarke; four sisters, Mrs. William Jenkins, Mrs. Auburn Andrews, Mrs. D.P. Lewis and Mrs. Raymond Cook, and a brother, W.B. Jarman.
