Funeral services for Mr. Clyde J. Parker, 94, of Ragley, LA, were Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Magnolia Baptist Church in Ragley, LA, Rev. Mike Sanford officiated. Burial followed in Magnolia Baptist Cemetery in Ragley. Mr. Parker passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012, in his residence in Ragley. Mr. Parker was a lifelong resident of Ragley, LA, one of eight children born to William J. Parker and Elizabeth Welsh Parker. He was a veteran of World War II and retired from Trunkline Gas Company after 30 years of service. He was a lifelong member of Magnolia Baptist Church. Clyde enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, and one daughter-in-law, Delores Parker, Mr. Parker is survived by his wife of 67 years; two sons of Ragley; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mr. Parker's family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Magnolia Baptist Church Building Fund.

Services were under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
