Grace M. Ambrose, 72, of 331 Pompano Terrace, Punta Gorda, died Wednesday at a local hospital.
A native of Tucker, Georgia, she moved to this area 10 years ago from Islamorada.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte.
Survivors include a son, Clifford B. Ambrose of Bonifay; a daughter, Sara Clark of Punta Gorda; two brothers, Jim Melton of Atlanta and Guy Melton of Lawrenceville, Georgia; a sister. Ruth Thomas of Tucker, Georgia; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
