MARJORIE ALLEN HUGHES, of Memphis, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012.
She was a graduate of Memphis Technical High School, attended U.T. Medical University, was retired from Baptist Memorial Hospital as the secretary to the past president and was a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hughes, the wife of Charles Hughes is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Phyllis Hughes, Jr., Michael and Kathy Hughes and Russell and Julia Hughes; and ten grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David J. and Ann Allen and a sister, Ruth Clement.
Interment will be in Historic Elmwood Cemetery.
