Hazel Whitehead, 80, died Friday in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Yates, pastor of Grant Street United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park.
Born April 27, 1903, in Roan, Texas, she had lived in Wichita Falls since 1935. She was a homemaker and a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Order of Eastern Star Faith Chapter 713. She was a member of Grant Street United Methodist Church and Suzanna Wesley Sunday School Class.
Survivors include two sons, David of Wichita Falls and Ronald of Houston; a brother, James Edwards of Yucca Valley, Calif.; a sister, Audrey Rimes of River Forest, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
