Mrs. Anna Laura Bruce, 65, wife of Robert Bruce of St. Paul, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home after an illness of the last two years of Brights's disease.
She was born April 6, 1876, in Greenup county and was a pioneer resident of the St. Paul community. She married Mr. Bruce on April 25, 1900. Mrs. Bruce was a member for 40 years of the Mar's Hill Christian church.
Surviving are her husband, a son, Ralph Bruce of Lima, a granddaughter, Rosemary Bruce of Portsmouth, and a brother, Walter Greenslait of Kenova.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mar's Hill Christian church, with Rev. Walter Bagby officiating. Burial will be in Mar's Hill cemetery under the direction of J. R. Morton & Son. The body is at the residence.
