Viola M. Cole, 81
Lynn Viola M. Cole, 81, rural Lynn, died Feb. 9, 2002, in Ball Memorial Hospital Muncie.

She was born in Fredrick, MD , the daughter of the late William and Edna Quinn(sic) Myers, and lived in the Lynn and Modoc areas for 34 years. She attended Elwood High School and worked at Anchor Hocking Glass Co., Winchester, for 14 years. She was a member of the North Vernon Pleasant View Methodist Church and also attended the Union Port Buena Vista Christian Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 64 years John Cole, Lynn, a son , George(Tom) Cole, (wife: Charlotte), Modoc, two daughter, Norita Batten (husband Jim) Union City, and Judy Nunley (husband Francis) Modoc; two-sisters, Alice Ricks (husband Ronald), Marion and Dorothy Lewis (husband John) Jonesboro, 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother James, and sister Ruth.

Funeral services are entrusted to Miller Mortuary Chapel of Peace, Farmland. Wednesday, Feb 13, 2002, at 10:30a.m. with the Rev Jerry Brumfield officiating. Internment will be in Elwood City Cemetery, Elwood, Indiana. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday at the mortuary and an hour before the funeral service on Wednesday at the Miller Mortuary. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice, through the mortuary.
