Kathleen Dale Dannel Barton, 85, of Harrisonburg, went home to be with the Lord, Oct. 20, 2009.
Kathleen was born June 1, 1924, in Roanoke, Va., and was the daughter of the late William Morris and Nancy Maude Burnett Dannel.
She was a homemaker and devoted all of her time to her husband, children and grandchildren.
In August of 1940, she married Earl Leslie Barton, who died on June 28, 1976.
Kathleen is survived by her children, 5 sons and 3 daughters. Also 6 grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Kathleen was preceded in death by a brother, Harold M. Barton, and a sister, Estelle Robertson.
