Shirley Evelyn (Abbott) Rogers, 86, passed at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, California. She was the daughter of Herbert Moses & Grace Lillian Abbott. Shirley and Wilson (Buck) Rogers were married on July 31, 1948 in Westwood Hill Community Church in Los Angeles, California. Shirley was a graduate of Braintree High School, class of 1941 in Braintree, MA. She is a member of the Daughter of the American Revolution of Yosemite Chapter #859586 in Fresno, California and Concordia Chapter #309 Order of Eastern Star in Clovis, California. Shirley is survived by one son, Wilson and his wife Darlene; two granddaughters, Miriam and Rebekah, and one great-grandson Nathan. She is also survived by one brother in Florida. Shirley was predeceased by her parents; sister Audrey Abbott Peterson and brother H. Allan Abbott of Cartersville, Georgia. Shirley will be buried with her parents at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy.
