Well known and highly respected by a large circle of friends, died at Centreville last Friday, and was buried at the Fallsburgh cemetery on Sunday p.m.

Funeral service at the Centreville Church, conducted by Rev. Mr. Cole who preached an impressive sermon designed to teach the importance of being prepared when summoned to the last journey. He referred to the deceased as being a true friend and always ready to extend a friendly hand.

Appropriate hymns rendered in full harmony with the occasion, by the church choir, added to the sservice.

A delegation from Ratcliffe Post, Monticello, attended and officiated at the grave.

The Mitchell undertaking establishment had charge of the interment.
