Calvin was buried in the Lamb cemetery in Greentown next to his first wife, Penninah Elizabeth Albertson, and Cynthia was buried in the Lindley section of the Greenlawn cemetery in Greentown next to her first husband Samuel Gibson and just west of her parents William & Judith. Her headstone reads: "Cynthia Ellen, Wife of S. M. Gibson, 1844-1911".
Cynthia Ellen died of chronic catarrhal bronchitis with hemorrage poison, with euremia as a contributory cause of death. V. E. Baldwin was the M.D. and J. E. Fulwider was the undertaker.
