Former Local Man, 85, Dies in California

Daniel W. Fenstermaker, 85, of Lawndale, Calif., a former Oil City Resident, died in California September 15. Interment was in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery at Gardena Calif.

He was a son of Aaron and Ida Martin Fenstermaker. His wife, the former Hattie Pierce, died Sept. 1, 1916.* Surviving are six children: Charles E. Fenstermaker, Mrs. Ella B. Smith, Mrs. Lionel (Rose) Oakes, of Oil City; Mrs. Orrie (Twila) Olds of Englewood, Calif., Harvey B. Fenstermaker of Lawndale, and Lawrence A. Fenstermaker of Hawthorne, Calif. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Daisy Kitch, and a brother, Sandy Fenstermaker, of Greenville.
