Mary Liesman broke her left hip in a fall October 20, 1939 and despite her advanced age recovered and was able to be up and about. On June 6, 1941 she fell again and this time fractured her right hip. She was confined to her bed most of the time since the accident. Mrs. Louise Werkman, a daughter, resided with her. The funeral was held at 1:30 pm Tuesday at the home and 2pm at the Zion Lutheran church with Rev. A. E. Neitzel. Burial will be in the Old Union Cemetery in Lincoln IL.
