Funeral Services for Marvin R. Allen, 78, Waynesboro Route 1, were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Old Friendship Baptist Church. Rev. H.W. Ayers officiated. Burial was in the Walker Cemetery with Middle Tennessee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Allen died Oct. 30 at the home of his brother, Harve Allen of Eagle Creek community. He was a native of Indiana, a son of James and Arzilla Miles Allen. He had made his home in Wayne county for nine years. He was a farmer and a member of the United Brothers Church. He had never married. Only survivor in addition to his brother Harve, is a sister, Mrs. Alta Phillips of Boonville, Indiana.
